7 days a week I was checking emails, answering support tickets and coordinating with the team. Doing those tasks once a week seemed impossible.

I was in too deep to think about anything else.

Then I got to three days a week. Monday, Wednesday, Friday. Still couldn’t imagine once a week from there.

Then I got to two. And from two, once a week seemed possible for the first time.

I started putting systems in place.

  • Tier 1 support handled most issues before they reached me.
  • Recurring tasks got templated or delegated.

Each system I built at two days a week made one day a week seem more real.

Now I do admin once a week. And from here, I can see something I couldn’t see from two days a week: maybe once every two weeks. Maybe once a month.

That seemed impossible before I arrived here.
